Tee Shirts, Extra Books and bringing this "Train in for a Landing!"

As we're nearing the end of our campaign I feel myself finally coming to a place of stillness.  It's been quite a ride going along with the ups and downs and ebbs and flows of the process.  For a week now every corner I'd turn in the campaign I'd keep thinking "this is the last one..."  And then there are more, and more. 

But tonight I feel peaceful with the knowledge that the momentum of the project will take it where it will... We've set one last (we promise!) stretch goal of $15,000.  And when and if we make it... it will be amazing to say that the origami community raised $15k in in three short weeks to support the re-release of classic models.  But the truth is it's amazing as well to say we rose $6k, or $10k or $13k.  

The support and enthusiasm is astounding... the messages just keep poring in as the buzz accelerates and I as conductor am just feeling so much joy and gratitude around and toward ALL of the people who have reached out in support both with contributions and assistance.  The bloggers, the folders, the artiseans, the writers, strategists and translators, so many people have been a part of this effort.

So as a gift to all contributors, I'm going to include one of the badges below as a vinyl decal for everyone.  (And if we make the last stretch goal I'll include all three.)

And also for all contributors, you can add a second (or even third) book for $20 AND you can now add a tee shirt for $30.  We've now had enough demand for shirts that we can fell secure in the pricing.  I also learned today that we should be able to get two colors and different sizes.  So if just 1 in 4 of the contributors adds a book or a tee-shirt to their order we'll make our final goal.  

So that's about it really... I'm really just feeling so excited to see what all comes of this in the coming weeks and coming months and am once again (after yesterday's WILD ride) sitting in great appreciation for everyone and your commitment and enthusiasm.

Time to hit the sack!
